As a certified professional, Bryson Roof has completed the NSSA® designation in Social Security planning and the IRMAA Certified Planner designation, bringing specialized expertise in Social Security and Medicare planning to clients.

As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), National Social Security Advisor (NSSA®), and IRMAA Certified Planner (IRMAACP™), Bryson offers specialized guidance on understanding and managing IRMAA-related Medicare costs, coordinating Medicare and Social Security strategies, tax planning, and retirement planning. His collaboration with a network of estate planning attorneys, accountants, and insurance professionals allows him to offer advice that integrates legal, tax, insurance, and financing insights for a cohesive and coordinated approach. Bryson began his career with a global financial services firm in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with a focus on financial planning. Relocating back to his hometown in southcentral Pennsylvania, he joined Roof Advisory Group in 2012, which later merged with Fort Pitt Capital Group in 2019. He joined Focus Partners Wealth in 2026. Bryson earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan College. Outside of the office, Bryson is a licensed field trial judge through the American Kennel Club (AKC), traveling to beagle clubs throughout the Northeast. He also holds multiple roles in many wildlife conservation organizations, including being the Treasurer for the Northeast Beagle Gundog Federation (NEBGF), the immediate past President of Harrisburg Beagle Club, and the current budget committee member of Harrisburg Beagle Club. Bryson was also a past Vice President of the West Shore Young Professionals, a former Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Pennsylvania Region, and Chairman of the Blood Drive Committee for the Rotary Club of Harrisburg. You can often find Bryson, his wife and daughter exploring the woods or at the kennel training his AKC beagles. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting, and managing large tracts of land for wildlife conservation.
